As a young person, I was plagued with self-defeating thoughts, anxieties, and insecurities. It wasn’t until much later in life that I discovered the practice of mindfulness, and learned the majority of my thoughts were untrue. It was, and always is, my choice which thoughts I believe, which I let go, and most impactfully, where I put my attention.
This powerful practiced changed my life. It is my heart’s desire to share it with others; young people struggling as I did, parents trying to be the best versions of themselves for their children, as I am now, and all humans desiring peace.
As there are several mindfulness practices, I want to help my clients explore and choose what connects and works best for them. In our sessions, clients can explore mindfulness meditation, breathing, emotional awareness, body awareness, present moment awareness, and so much more. I may offer mindfulness games and movement, as well as many other personalized techniques so the client has a felt understanding of the practice and can draw on it anytime, anywhere.
